After John 3:16

Probably the most used verse from the Bible is John 3:16. Probably everybody reading this can quote it. But what about the verses that follow?

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:17 ESV)

If you share Jesus or ever have a discussion with a professing atheist, you will usually get some kind of answer like this, "Why would God send me to hell for not believing in His son?" And their statement is usually followed by "I don't want anything to do with a God like that."

Here is where the verse that follows the most popular Bible scripture on earth comes to play. Read it again... Jesus was not sent here to condemn the world!!! Here's the thing, you and I are destined for eternity to hell FOR OUR SINS AGAINST THE LIVING GOD! Not because of Jesus. There was, is, and never will be anything that you and I can do to make up for our sins, but good news... Jesus can and DID!

He is not the world's doom, but rather our Hope..

For starters: I am nothing special, I love Jesus and He is my Lord. I am the husband of a godly woman. She is working with me to raise a godly child. I am a teacher. I love to read and write.
