Nehemiah: Readings and the Thoughts that followed

Nehemiah 8:3~ "And he read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law."
  • ​I cannot help but be impressed that people from all age groups listened attentively to God's Law being read for at least 4 hours.
  • The Law was being read, the very words that convict men of their sins, in order to show them where they stand with a Holy God. 12/18/17
