2 Corinthians 12:21 ~ "I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged." Don't grieve your pastors, build them up!

2 Corinthians 7:10 ~ "For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death." We can't avoid correction believers, because correction -brought about the right way- leads to closer relationships, with you, but most importantly, Jesus Christ.

For you felt a godly grief, so that you suffered no loss through us." The goal needs to always be repentance, because repentance brings people back to God. Retribution will push people away.
